Rose Oolong

The origin of roses dates back to 35 million years. In Greek mythology, it is believed that roses came into existence through the tears and the blood of Adonis, the lover of Aphrodite (the goddess of love). Cleopatra, who is known for her affairs, used loads of rose petals to cover her floor to scent the air romantic to woo Mark Antony.   The other half of the equation is oolong tea. Oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea that originates from the Fujian province of China. The term oolong comes from the Chinese term Wulong, wu means black, and long means dragon translating to Black Dragon tea.   One theory suggests that this tea originated in the mountains of Wuyi and named after the mountains. Another theory called the “Anxi” theory, where a man accidentally discovered this tea as he forgot about leaving tea leaves on the ground, and came back the next day to find the leaves bruised and partially oxidized.
